Fáilte Ireland's Outdoor Dining Scheme will benefit Kerry businesses.

That's according to Mayor of Killarney councillor Brendan Cronin and Cathaoirleach of the Castleisland Corca Dhuibhne MD councillor Seamus Cosaí Fitzgerald.

Councillors in Killarney and Dingle have been briefed on the scheme, which will upgrade streets and public spaces and implement weather-proofing to facilitate year-round outdoor dining.

The council intends to propose Kenmare Place in Killarney and the boat yard site, near the waterfront in Dingle for the scheme.
