West Kerry councillors are calling for additional evening services on the 276 Dingle to Killarney bus.
It follows a motion at the recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD, from Fine Gael councillor Tommy Griffin.
He says this local link route is extremely popular, however, believes it should have later services, as currently the last bus from Dingle is 4.15PM, while it leaves Killarney at 6PM.
Cllr Griffin stated later buses in both directions would be good for tourism and businesses in each town and the areas in-between.
The motion to write to the NTA (National Transport Authority) requesting more services on the 276, was seconded by Fianna Fáil councillor, Breandán Fitzgerald.
