No road markings have been laid down in a West Kerry village for over 120 years.
That’s according to Sinn Féin councillor Robert Brosnan, who asked the council to design draft road markings for Cloghane village.
Speaking at the recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD meeting, he said a photo of An Clochán from the early 1900’s shows there has been no change to the road markings since.
In response, Kerry County Council says it will assess road lining provision for the area; adding works are subject to funding.
