Kerry County Council has been urged to develop serviced sites schemes across Kerry.
Fianna Fáil councillor Breandán Fitzgerald raised the motion at a recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD meeting.
He believes service sites schemes are an affordable option for people, especially in areas where there is not adequate wastewater capacity.
The motion was seconded by Fianna Fáil councillor Fionnán Fitzgearld.
The council responded advising it’s exploring options under the government’s “ready to build scheme”, and an update will be provided at a later date.
