Kerry County Council is pursuing the person they believe is responsible for a significant amount of littering at a woods in Castlemaine.
A large amount of mainly household waste was dumped at Ballygamboon Woods just outside Castlemaine earlier this week.

Fine Gael councillor Tommy Griffin, who reported the littering to the local authority, says the council has found evidence of personal details in the rubbish dumped there.
He says fines will be issued and if these are not paid, the council will initiate court proceedings.
Cllr Griffin says this incident of dumping was on a large scale.
