Kerry County Council says documents will be submitted in the second quarter of the year for road improvement works along a section of the N72.
The information was provided in response to a motion from independent councillor Podge Foley at the recent Kenmare MD meeting.
He asked the council for an update on the walk between Killorglin town and the RDI hub.

In response the council advised the application for the Killorglin to Anglont road improvement scheme is being finalised.
It says this will be submitted to An Coimisiún Pleanála during the second quarter of the year.
