Kerry County Council has reinstated disabled parking bays in Castleisland.
It follows a motion from independent councillor, Charlie Farrelly at the recent meeting of the Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District.
He urged the council to re-establish the blue badge bays that were originally located outside the Island Centre on Main Street in the town.

These spaces were removed during a recent resurfacing project, the local authority has since reinstated the bays at two locations along the main street.
