Council aware of illegal dumping at North Kerry beach

Kerry County Council says it’s been made aware of illegal dumping at a North Kerry beach.

A large volume of rubbish has appeared in a public convenience area along the promenade at Ballyheigue beach in recent days.

Household waste, furniture, pallets and other items have been dumped in a tourist zone by the sand dunes.

The council says it is aware of the issue and is considering its options to remove the material.
