A stakeholders' forum for Inch beach will be arranged before the 2026 summer season.
That’s according to information provided by Kerry County Council at the recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD.
Cllr Tommy Griffin sought an update on the forum between the council, the NPWS and the local community.
In July last year, a deputation from the area highlighted concerns around safety issues and the need to develop adequate parking and permanent public toilets.
The Fine Gael councillor added the need for additional summer parking in the area is a top priority.
In response to the motion, the council advised it met with the NPWS to review and progress projects, including Inch beach.
