Cork Airport welcomes its two millionth passenger
Cork Airport, Cork, Ireland. 29th July, 2025. Cork Airport celebrated its two millionth passenger of 2025. Benvon Deasy from Rochestown, who was flying to Capetown via London Heathrow with Aer Lingus was presented with a special hamper and bottle of champagne, courtesy of Cork Airport Duty Free. Cork Airport has welcomed its two millionth passenger of the year, a month earlier than in 2024.

The airport is expecting over 74,000 passengers this August Bank Holiday Weekend with Sunday forecast to be its busiest day.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their scheduled flight's departure time.

This year is predicted to be its busiest year in the airport's 64-year history.
