Cork Airport records highest January passenger figures in over six years

Cork Airport enjoyed its busiest January in over six years.

Over 161,000 passengers travelled through the airport; more than double the numbers seen in January 2022.

The number is also 12% higher than January 2019, the last equally comparable period prior to the pandemic.

The airport recorded 98% of passengers went through secuirty screening in less than 20 minutes and virtually all passed through in under 30 minutes
