Cork Airport expects 164,000 passengers over festive season

Cork Airport is expecting 164,000 passengers between now and the 6th of January.

That’s up 7% compared to the same period last year.

Passengers arriving over the coming days will be greeted by Christmas choirs and musicians, which will continue to perform on the Arrivals stage until 23rd of December.

Managing Director at Cork Airport, Niall McCarthy, said that they take great pride in their service every season, but particularly at Christmas

2025 will be the airport’s busiest year in Cork Airport’s 64 year history, with passenger numbers beating all previous records.
