Copper wiring stolen from Castleisland

Two tonnes of copper wiring have been stolen from the Castleisland area.

Gardaí say the theft took place two days ago in Tonbwee, sometime between 1am and 12 noon on Saturday.

Garda Aidan O'Mahony says it's believed the copper was removed through a neighbouring field.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Castleisland Garda Station or any garda station.
