A contractor is being appointed to construct new roads, footpaths and boundary wall at Rath burial ground in Tralee.
Kerry County Council says tenders are also being sought to develop a Columbarium wall in the graveyard.
At the recent Tralee Municipal District meeting, the council also said new footpaths were installed in Churchill Burial Ground this year and a new section was opened at Annagh Graveyard.
