Concerns about maintaining the level of services provided by priests have been raised locally as three more of Kerry's parishes are to lose priests.
Kilgarvan, Ballydonoghue and Caherdaniel will lose their priest as the diocese makes changes to clerical personnel following a number of retirements.
The Diocese of Kerry is due to announce the clerical changes on Friday.
Chair of Kilgarvan Pastoral Council, Eamon Horgan says the community is very disappointed to lose their priest.
He says they'll face massive challenges, given the large geographical area priests will now be expected to cover.
