The community are rallying around the family of a young North Kerry man following his tragic passing yesterday after a serious road crash on Saturday.
19 year old Aidan Forristal from Lixnaw had been seriously injured in the single car collision, which occurred at Deerpark, Lixnaw.
Parish priest of Lixnaw, Fr Anthony O'Sullivan says the whole community is saddened by this sudden and tragic event, stating that words cannot convey the sense of grief and loss.
He paid tribute to neighbours of the Forristal family in Liscullane, as well as Lixnaw parish as a whole, in coming together to support the family during this incredible difficult and unexpected time:
Gardaí are still investigating the accident and have appealed for witnesses to come forward, especially anyone with dash-cam footage.
