Community groups in Kerry are being urged to apply for adult literacy project funding.
A total of €1 million nationally in supports is available, through the adult literacy for life (ALL) programme office, under the Collaboration and Innovation Fund 2026.
It will enable groups focus on financial and family literacy projects, helping adults build numeracy, digital and financial skills.
Closing date for applications is 12 noon on January 22nd.
The funding call was officially launched by the Minister of State at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science Marian Harkin TD in Dublin. €1 million in funding will enable community partners across the Kerry region and Ireland, to access important funding to reach adults with unmet literacy, numeracy, digital and financial literacy needs and to create literacy-friendly communities.
