A columbarium wall in Killarney graveyard is nearing completion.

The structure, which will be used to store urns holding the ashes of people who have died and been cremated, is part of the graveyard at Knockeendubh.

Kerry County Council says the project is due for completion by the end of next month and will contain 100 niches.

The cost of the columbarium wall is estimated to be €115,000.
