A Kerry County Councillor hopes Fáilte Ireland will help fund the development of a restaurant in West Kerry which the council is interested in buying.
It’s understood that Kerry County Council has gone sale agreed in negotiations to buy Sammy's Restaurant, Café and Shop located on Inch beach.
Fine Gael councillor Tommy Griffin says he hopes the sale can be completed, adding it’d be very positive for the area as the sale would bring with it endless opportunities.

Cllr Griffin says if the sale goes ahead, he believes national funding streams would be open to help ensure the proper infrastructure is there:
