Cllr says extensive Killarney roadworks must be done now or else money will be lost

Extensive roadworks in Killarney must be done now or else the money will be gone.

That’s according to Independent councillor Niall Botty O’Callaghan.

Works are underway on Main Street and Kenmare Place to enhance the streetscape, accessibility and the overall visitor experience.

These works will require the closure of Main Street until July 3rd and again from October 5th to December 4th; pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

The street will reopen from July 4th to October 4th for the summer season.

Cllr O’Callaghan says any disruption will be worth it and it will improve the town:
