Christmas swims are taking place across Kerry tomorrow.
Local charities are set to benefit from funds raised by all the swims.
They’re starting in Portmagee at half past 10 in support of Dromid Cancer Care Support Car.
The Kenmare swims begins at 11am to in aid of the Kerry Mental Health Association
At the same time Killarney swimmers will raise funds at Muckross Lake in aid of mental health charity Aware.
The majority of swims across the county get underway at 12 noon.
In Fenit, funds are being raised for the local RNLI, while the Valentia Island Community Hospital and Cúnamh Iveragh will benefit from funds raised in Cahersiveen.
The Ballinskelligs swim is in support of John Dillon and The Gavin Glynn Foundation.
Derrynane's swim is also at 12, in aid of their local Inshore Rescues and the Alzheimers Society Kerry branch.
At half 12, swimmers take to the water in Banna for the inshore rescue, Ballybunion in aid of the Sea and Cliff Rescue, and Inch for the Kerry Cancer Support Group.
One of the organisers for Inch Beach’s Christmas Day Swim, Joanne Long, says the annual event is a growing tradition:
