A man and two women have been sent forward for trial to Tralee Circuit Court accused of child sexual exploitation.
None of the three co-accused can be named, by order of the court.
The male co-accused faces over 140 allegations of child sexual offences, while the two women each face charges of child sexual exploitation.
The male defendant, a man in his 30s, faces 36 charges of obtaining a child for sexual exploitation, 34 counts of inciting a child to sexual touching, and 34 charges of sexual assault.
He also faces 34 charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence or sight of a child and four counts of communicating to facilitate the sexual exploitation of a child.
These 142 charges relate to alleged sexual offences against four children under 17 years of age.
Another co-accused, a woman in her 40s, is charged with 33 counts of providing a child for sexual exploitation and seven other charges including the production, distribution, and possession of child pornography.
Solicitor Brendan Ahern said that an interpreter may be required for this accused at trial.
The third accused is a woman in her 20s, who faces nine charges, including facilitating the exploitation of children and providing a child for sexual exploitation, on dates between May 2019 and September 2021.
All three were present in Tralee District Court this week, where they were all served with books of evidence against them.
Sergeant Chris Manton said the Director of Public Prosecutions consented to each of the three being sent forward for trial, or for sentencing on a signed plea.
Judge David Waters sent them forward for trial to the current sittings of Tralee Circuit Criminal Court.
If any of the three sign guilty pleas, they will then be sent forward to the Circuit Court for sentencing.
