Chair of Cahersiveen Community Development Group airs frustration at delays on town regeneration

Work on the regeneration of Cahersiveen has been too slow, but progress over the next 12 months will make a difference.

That’s according to the chair of ACARD - Cahersiveen Community Development Group, Frank Curran.

He says South Kerry has struggled for many years, however, the development of the greenway has brought a lot of confidence for the region.

Mr Curran aired his frustration at the slow delivery of infrastructure in the area.

He believes Cahersiveen and South Kerry can benefit from schemes like over the shop grant, but time is the issue.
