The consumer watchdog has carried out 16 unannounced inspections on businesses in Kerry ahead of the peak summer season.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission officers undertook 80 checks nationally, focusing on key tourist locations in six counties.
The CCPC says the 16 checks in Kerry were primarily carried out in Dingle and Kenmare.
The visits covered a broad range of sectors, including gifts shops, pubs, cafés and petrol stations, to check for transparent pricing and fair commercial practices.
A number of a potential breaches of consumer law were found, and the CCPC says those businesses could now be subject to prosecution.
