Castleisland Parish Church will be closed for the next three days for upgrade works.
These are to facilitate the replacement of the old heating system in the church, which was damaged by lightning before Christmas.
It’s understood thousands of euro worth of damage was caused to St Stephen and John’s Church following the lightning strike on December 22nd.

The church will be closed today (Tuesday May 6th) until Thursday (May 8th) inclusive to facilitate the works.
Castleisland Parish office and shop will remain open during this period.
