Calls for public realm works in Killarney to finish on time for tourist season

Public realm works, currently underway in Killarney, must be finished on time to allow the route to re-open to all traffic during the busy tourist season.

That's the message of the new retail sub-committee of Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce.

In a statement the retail sub-committee described the works on Main Street and Kenmare Place as a "hugely positive development".

They said that the works will "significantly enhance the overall character of the area and the town centre’s … offerings".
