There’s a call to make a scenic trail in Ballybunion more accessible.
Ballybunion Cliff Walk is based along the cliff tops between the north and south beaches, and features cliff paths and roadway.
Fine Gael Cllr Mike Kennelly raised the issue at the recent Listowel Municipal District meeting.

He’s calling for the walk to be made more accessible for wheelchair users and buggies, as well as for walkers and runners.
He said access and use of the facility was challenging in July during wet weather.
