Call for government to provide specific business grants to improve air filtration

There’s a call for the government to provide specific grants to businesses to improve air filtration systems.

That’s according to the manager of the Aquila Club Leisure Centre in the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney, Eamonn Quigley, who says ventilation is essential for dealing with COVID-19.

He believes such grant aid wouldn't just help to help the fitness industry to recover, but would also help local companies that fit such systems.

Mr Quigley says the funding would stay within Ireland and benefit Irish businesses.
