Eir's confirmed that there's been a fibre break on the broadband network in South Kerry.
The resulting fault is affecting broadband users on the Iveragh Peninsula.
Eir says accidental damage occurred just after 11 o'clock this morning near Kells.

A team from eir has been working to resolve the issue and will provide an estimated time for repair and restoration of service as soon as possible.
