A boil water notice affecting around 200 customers of the Dawros Group Water Scheme in South Kerry has been lifted.
Kerry County Council has confirmed that the ban on using water straight from the tap for drinking, preparing uncooked foods and personal hygiene has ended after consultation with the HSE.
This problem with the chlorine dosing system at the treatment plant in the Kenmare has now been rectified and water quality has been restored.
