A woman's body has been recovered from the River Feale in the Killocrim area.
The alarm was raised around 6 o'clock yesterday evening, following reports of a person in the water.
A multi agency operation commenced, with members of Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue, Listowel Fire Service and the Coast Guard, as well as local Gardaí.

The search was called off due to weather conditions and began again this morning, with the Kerry Civil Defense assisting.
Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue's D Class rescue boat recovered the body of the woman just after 1 o'clock this afternoon, 4km down stream from Killocrim bridge.
