Blood donors asked to attend Kerry clinics to build supplies ahead of St Patrick’s Day

Blood donors are being asked to attend clinics in Kerry over the coming days to help build blood supplies ahead of St Patrick’s Day.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service says as hospitals prepare for the busy St Patrick’s Day period, the need to build blood stocks in advance is especially important.

There’s been a spike in demand for blood this year.
