The cost of buying a home in Kerry increased by 4% in the year to January.
That’s according to the CSO’s Residential Property Price Index.
It shows the average price of purchasing a home in the county in the first month of the year was €252,250.

The figures show the median cost of houses in the V23 (Cahersiveen) eircode area, fell by just under 9% during the period; from €258,000 in January 2024 to 235,000 in January 2025.
Meanwhile, in the 12 months to January, there were increases in the average home price in the V92 Tralee (7%), V93 Killarney (3.87%) , and V31 Listowel (4.8%) eircode areas.
