A residential centre in Kerry for adults with intellectual disabilities has received a positive review from the health watchdog.
The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) carried out an announced inspection of Ashwood House in February (11 February).
The unit was found to be compliant with all 15 of the regulations against which it was assessed.
The inspector concluded that there was a high level of regulatory compliance, that residents received a high quality of care, and that they were supported to make connections in their local community.
