Aras Mhuire Nursing Home at Greenville, Listowel has received a glowing review from the health watchdog.
The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) carried out an unannounced inspection at the North Kerry facility in December (12/12/2025).
It complied with all thirteen eleven of the Health Act regulations against with it was assessed.

The HIQA inspector reported that it was evident that staff knew residents well and were kind and person-centred.
Residents were quoted as praising the staff as ''marvellous'', ''lovely'', ''brilliant'' and ''fantastic''.
Visitors who spoke to the inspector were very positive with one saying that the ''care is fabulous''.
