The annual ‘Swim for Jigsaw’ Challenge takes place in Kerry this weekend.
The youth mental health charity’s fundraiser begins at half past nine (9:30am) next Sunday (14th September) morning at Fenit Strand.
Organisers hope the fundraiser will also raise awareness of the benefits of open-water swimming.
It’s open to all and more information can be found on the radio Kerry website.

The charity says research shows that open-water swimming significantly elevates psychological well-being, and boosts happiness, satisfaction, meaning, stress relief, sleep, mindfulness, immune support, and sensory restoration.
