Almost €100,000 has been awarded for community water quality improvement projects in Kerry.
It’s part of €2.4 million in funding nationwide announced by Housing Minister James Browne and Minister of State Christopher O’Sullivan.
€99,129 euro will be delivered to Kerry through the Community Water Development Fund and the Catchment Support Fund.
These initiatives aim to improve water quality, protect biodiversity, and financially support environmental community groups.
Projects awarded in the county include Knocknagoshel Environmental and Angling Association, which will receive over €49,000 and Fenit Coast Conservation, which will receive €20,000.
