Almost 40 per cent of hotels in Kerry being used to accommodate asylum seekers and refugees

Almost 40 per cent of hotels in Kerry are being used to accommodate asylum seekers and refugees.

That's according to information obtained by Newstalk, following a Freedom of Information request.

The figures show that 876 international protection applicants are being accommodated, as well as 6,505 Ukrainian refugees, in the county.
