Almost 3,000 households in Kerry are in receipt of Accommodation Recognition Payment (ARP) for providing accommodation to Ukrainians seeking refuge.
That’s according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office.
It shows as of the start of November, over 18,300 (18,301) hosts nationwide are receiving the payment.
2,918 households in Kerry are in receipt of ARP for accommodating those who fled from the war in Ukraine.
This is the fourth highest number of hosts in the country, behind Donegal (5,045), Dublin (4,565), and Cork (3,062).
