Almost 13,500 people are on waiting lists for outpatient and inpatient appointments at University Hospital Kerry.
That’s according to figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund for December.
13,499 people were waiting on outpatient and inpatient appointments at University Hospital Kerry, as of December 18th.
There are also another 856 people on the planned procedure list there – these are patients who have had treatment but require additional treatment at UHK at a future date.
These figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund from December show there were more than 11,700 (11,757) people awaiting outpatients’ appointments at UHK.
Over 10,700 (10,754) of these are adults, while more than 1,000 (1,003) are children.
Meanwhile, 204 people are on the inpatient day case to come in list at the Tralee hospital.
There are 1,742 people awaiting inpatients’ appointments at UHK, including for endoscopies, as of December 18th.
