Almost 13,000 incidents of crime were recorded in the Kerry Garda Division last year.
That’s according to the CSO’s latest crime data report.
12,930 incidents of crime were recorded in Kerry throughout 2025.
The Central Statistics Office reports that 3,075 incidents were recorded across 85 crime categories in Kerry between January and March.
Road traffic (290), and public order offences (267) were the highest recorded crimes during the first quarter.
Over 3,000 (3,421) incidents were registered in the county during the second quarter of 2025.
Theft and related offences accounted for the highest category at 300 incidents, a rise of more than 41% quarter-on-quarter.
July to August had the largest number of recorded crimes in Kerry during 2025, at more than 3,400 (3,434), with theft accounting for the highest proportion in Q3.
The Kerry Garda Division logged 3,000 crimes in the fourth quarter of last year – theft, road traffic, and public order had the highest incidence rates.
