Almost 1,000 (945) children in West Kerry are taking part in farm safety workshops this week.
The farm safety education initiative for children, AgriKids, works with schools and communities to keep young people safe on farms.
It is being delivered at twelve schools on the Dingle Peninsula.
Farming remains Ireland’s most dangerous occupation, with children and older people particularly at risk.
