There have been more than 3,600 applications for the new Fuel Income Support Scheme since it opened last week.
The original deal included an up-to-20-cent-per-litre (c/l) lump sum payment to agricultural and forestry contractors, based on their average fuel usage levels between 1 March and 31 July 2025.
