Act of vandalism on West Kerry garda station condemned

An act of vandalism on a West Kerry garda station has been condemned and branded as unacceptable.

An investigation is underway after the words ‘coward traitors’ were spray painted on the wall outside Annascaul Garda Station overnight.

Gardaí confirmed they are investigating this incident of criminal damage.

Fianna Fáil councillor Breandán Fitzgerald says he was shocked and disappointed to hear of this incident.

He believes the vast majority of people don’t agree with the sentiment behind this vandalism, adding most people in Kerry support Gardaí and the work they do.
