Call for rapid COVID-19 test centre to be developed at Kerry Airport

There’s a call for a COVID-19 test centre to be developed at Kerry Airport.

Fianna Fáil Cllr Mikey Sheehy wants Kerry County Council to work with Kerry Airport management and the HSE to develop a rapid COVID-19 testing centre at the facility.

He believes testing there would be beneficial, as the airport in Farranfore is a key economic driver for Kerry and the safe return to its normal business operations is vital for the county.
