8 Kerry community-led projects are among the 30 groups across West Limerick and North Kerry to receive over half a million euro in funding.
The funding, from SSE Renewables, supports sports clubs and schools, along with biodiversity, energy‑efficiency and climate‑action initiatives.
Brosna Community Development Association was one of 7 groups that will share €350,473.96 from SSE’s Major Project Fund.
A further 7 Kerry projects are among the 23 groups that will share €158,809.07 from the Local Community Fund for West Limerick and North Kerry.
These groups are St. Joseph's Secondary School Ballybunion, Ballylongford Enterprise Tidy Towns, Tarbert GAA, Lenamore Rovers FC, Asdee Community Development CLG,
Lenamore National School, and the Ballylongford Enterprise Tidy Towns Christmas Campaign.
