79 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. It brings the total number of cases in the Republic to 27,755. There have been

It brings the total number of cases in the Republic to 27,755.

There have been no new deaths reported to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre today.

There has been a total of 1,776 COVID-19 related deaths.

Of the cases notified today, 73% are under 45 years of age.

43 cases arein Dublin, 9 in Kildare, 6 in Cork, 6 in Tipperary and the remaining 15 cases are in Clare, Donegal, Laois, Limerick, Louth, Mayo, Roscommon, Wexford and Wicklow.

The county figures show no new cases in Kerry.

The total number of confirmed cases in the county continues to stand at 323.
