747 Help to Buy Incentive claims have been approved for the county since its introduction in 2017, to the amount of €15.5 million.
The Help to Buy Incentive was announced in Budget 2017, and was available from January 1st 2017 to December 31st 2024.
The incentive was designed to assist first time buyers with the deposit required to purchase a self build or new house or apartment to live in as their home.
The refund is capped at €20,000, and covers up to 5% of the purchase value up to €400,000.
Nationwide, almost 139,000 applications have been made, with over 61,000 approved to the value of over €1.3 billion.
747 claims have been approved in Kerry, to the value of €15.5 million.
Dublin had the highest number of claims approved in the country, at just under 12,000 (11,944), followed by Cork (8,584) and Kildare (7,037).
