There were 61 adults in homeless accommodation in Kerry at the end of December.
The figures were released by the Department of Housing.
It is down two compared to the previous month; in November last there were 63 adults in Kerry accessing emergency accommodation.
In the South-West region, which covers Kerry and Cork, there were 107 families including 219 children, accessing emergency accommodation.
Nationally, the number of people homeless in December was 16,734 which is a decrease of 262 compared to the previous month.
The figures cover the period from December 22nd to 28th last.
