There has been a drop in the number of driving while intoxicated crimes recorded in the Kerry Garda Division.
That’s according to the CSO’s latest crime data report, which show a 6.5% reduction in 12 months.
Last year, Gardaí in the county recorded 302 incidents of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

That’s down from 323 arrests for intoxicated driving in Kerry during 2024.
The figures show the first quarter of last year saw the highest number of drink/drug driving incidents, at 89.
